If you want to play a game with white, just input the desired
opening move and the computer starts calculating its move.
If you wish to play with black, click the REBEL button or use
ALT+M.

The First Game
You can input a move in different ways.
- Click with the mouse on the piece you want to move and click with
the mouse on the square you want to go to.
- Use the cursor keys to go to the square where the piece you want
to move resides, and press ENTER. Drag the piece with the cursor keys
to the square you want to go to, and press ENTER again.
- Type the coordinates of the move in 4 characters. For example
type e2e4.
You can use variations of these three systems if you wish.
If your move is legal, the piece is moved and the computer will
start evaluating its own move.
- If the indicated hint move is also your choice then you can speed
up the input of that move by clicking on the hint move with the mouse.
Keyboard users can use ALT+H.
- Mouse users can make use of the following quick input procedure:
if the comment field contains hint moves from the opening book, then
clicking on such a move will immediately execute it.
- If you want the computer to play another book move, press F10.
This is the so-called next best function and is only active when the
computer knows the current position from its book.

The buttons provide you with a number of possibilities to
manipulate the moves (for details, see Using the buttons)
<HOME> program goes to the beginning of the game
<END> program goes to the end of the game
<-> program goes one move back
<+> program goes one move forward
Mouse users have the possibility to click on any move in the Move
section, for super fast takeback! By accessing menu
"Option", you can also go to specific moves (see Go to Move number).

The First Game
In this chapter we briefly indicate the possibilities for changing
the evaluations of the program. For more details, we refer you to
chapter 4.
- You can change the average time the computer uses to calculate a
move via menu "Levels".
- You can change the program's thinking depth, the memory it uses,
and the thinking when you are on the move via menu "Option".
- You can change from which opening book you want to play or cancel
the opening book completely via menu "Books" and menu
"Config".

The First Game
In the upper left corner of the screen you will find the Quick
Exit button. Using this button will exit the program immediately.
But you can also leave the program by accessing menu
"Start" Exit program or by pressing ALT+X. If you have
changed any of the user settings or colors, the program will ask you
if you want to save these or not.
